How we handle the details you share with us on codebuster.io.
Last updated: 19 Sep 2026This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Code Buster collects through codebuster.io, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the choices you have. We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025.
1. Who we are
Code Buster ("we", "us", "our") is a software company based in Gujarat, India. For this website, we are the Data Fiduciary, which means we decide why and how your personal data is used.

2. What we collect
When you fill our contact form
- Your name, email address and message.
- Your phone number, if you choose to give it.
- The page you sent the form from, and the product or service page you came from, if any.
Automatically, when you send the form
- Your IP (Internet Protocol) address and browser details (user agent), used only to prevent spam and abuse.
- A spam protection score from Google reCAPTCHA.
- Campaign details in the page link, such as utm_source, if you arrived from an advertisement or shared link.
When you browse the website
- If you accept analytics cookies: pages visited, time on page, device type, approximate location (city level) and how you reached the site, collected by Google Analytics.
- If you reject analytics cookies, no analytics data is collected.
We do not ask for payment details, government ID numbers or any sensitive personal data on this website. Please do not include such details in your message.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it for automated decisions about you. We do not add you to a newsletter or send marketing emails unless you ask us to.

5. Who we share data with
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run this website, and only for the purposes above:
- Google LLC: Google Workspace (email delivery of your enquiry), Google reCAPTCHA (spam protection) and Google Analytics (only with your consent).
- Our hosting provider: stores the website and enquiry records on secure servers.
We may also share data if required by law, court order or a government authority. Some service providers, such as Google, may process data outside India; we use them only where such transfer is permitted under Indian law.
6. How long we keep your data

If an enquiry turns into a project, related records are kept for as long as the business relationship and legal record keeping require.
7. How we protect your data
- The website uses HTTPS encryption for all pages and form submissions.
- Enquiries are stored in a secured system that only authorised Code Buster staff can access.
- Access is protected by strong passwords, and servers are protected against repeated login attempts.
- We review our security practices regularly.
If a personal data breach affects you, we will inform you without delay in plain language, explaining what happened, its likely impact, what we are doing about it and whom to contact, and we will inform the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
8. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, you can:
- Access: ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
- Correct or update: ask us to fix incorrect or incomplete data.
- Erase: ask us to delete your data when it is no longer needed.
- Withdraw consent: at any time, as easily as you gave it. For analytics, use Cookie settings; for enquiries, email us. Withdrawal does not affect what was done before it.
- Nominate: name another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.
- Grievance redressal: raise a complaint with us, and if you are not satisfied, approach the Data Protection Board of India.
To use any of these rights, write to mail@codebuster.io with the subject "Privacy request". We may ask you to confirm your identity. We will respond as soon as possible and within 90 days at the latest.
9. Children
This website is meant for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data of anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.
10. Links to other websites
Our website links to other sites, such as elevityhub.com. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your data.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website or the law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
